It's about hitting the heavy issues today. I am a pretty laid-back person who is down to earth. But this isn't about me. It's about everyone else: constituents.
Here we get back to "to each his own." I don't believe in having children. Other people, obviously do. I have no problem with that decision. If people want to have an abortion to further the medical field- let them. If people want to repopulate the earth- let them. You need a healthy balance for things like this. If everyone wanted to have kids, the world would be overpopulated, and we may very well be considered "underdeveloped"--advances in medicine are important- cost for using these services, despite the U.S. having the world's best medicine available is what the problem really is, but this is a discussion for Medical and Healthcare.

Issue 1: Transexual and Gay Rights
I am listing these as they come to mind.
Homosexual couples, heterosexual couples. My philosophy is, as long as I am not affected by it; I'm not pressured, I don't mind. I'm not a fan of PDA- doesn't matter if you're gay or straight. Little pecks on the mouth/cheek- save the heavy stuff for the house. It just makes people feel uncomfortable.
If you are happy with a man or woman, why should it matter to me? Be with the person who makes you the happiest.
Government officials should have absolutely no say in who you. as a citizen of the United States of America. can or cannot marry, much less fall in love with.
Humans aren't the only species to be this way. Many species in the animal kingdom mate homo-sexually.
And while it's not my cup of tea, who am I to tell you who it's okay to make love to, or simply emotionally connect to.
Lets talk about the individuals who desire to change gender. We have the means of making it happen so that people don't become miserable and commit suicide since they feel they are trapped in the wrong bodies.
If I were president I would make it illegal to dictate who you could marry. It's not the government's business to regulate our personal lives- why do we let them?
